Are there any yoga studios near the West end in Glasgow?
Yes! Glasgow is home to many great yoga studios, all with different styles. Our city centre yoga studio is easily accessible from the West End, however, if you are looking for something closer we recommend the Yoga Extension, which is an Iyengar studio run but a lovely woman named Frances.
Are there any yoga studios near the South Side in Glasgow?
Yes! Again, our Glasgow yoga studio is accessible from the south side of the city, but we recommend giving Studio 70 a shot if you would like something closer.
What types of yoga classes are offered in Glasgow?
There is something here for everyone. If you are looking for hot yoga, Hot Pod Yoga is in the same building as us. We are big fans of Iyengar Yoga at The Yoga Extension. There’s also lots of Vinyasa yoga, Yin, Ashtanga and you can even find Bikram yoga if that floats your boat.
Are there any prenatal or postnatal yoga classes in Glasgow?
Yes. If you are familiar with yoga already, all our teachers have been trained to adapt their classes to suit your needs. If you are looking for specific prenatal and postnatal yoga classes we highly recommend checking out Mellow Mummas yoga classes.
Do the yoga studios in Glasgow offer beginner-friendly classes?
As far as well know, all Glasgow yoga studios offer beginner friendly classes. If you would like to join us, we recommend starting with our gentle yoga classes. Another nice option if you are a beginner is to try yoga for the first time in the comfort of your own home. If you would like to do this, we have lots of online options available for you!
Are there any specialized yoga studios in Glasgow, such as hot yoga or aerial yoga?
Yes. The Kali Collective Yoga Studio is the home of Vinyasa Yoga. You can try Hot Pod Yoga, Hot Yoga Glasgow or Infinity Yoga if you would like hot yoga. You can find aerial yoga at Balance or Iyengar at The Yoga Extension. Also, Merchant City Yoga offers Ashtanga.
How much do yoga classes typically cost in Glasgow?
The going rate for a class is £12 for a drop in. Usually, if you purchase packages or memberships the cost per class goes down. You can find all our our yoga class prices here.
Are there any yoga studios in Glasgow that offer discounts or membership packages?
Most studios offer some kind of discount to try the studio and you can usually find membership packages at all studios. We hold strong values around parity for all, therefore we do not offer discounts and believe everyone should be paying the same price for the same offering.
Do the yoga studios in Glasgow provide yoga mats and props, or should I bring my own?
Most studios will have mats for rental and props to use free of use. All our our mats, blocks, straps, bolsters, chairs, blankets and other props are free to use.
Are there any yoga workshops or events happening in Glasgow?

Are the instructors at the yoga studios in Glasgow certified and experienced?
Yes, however we recommend doing your research on each instructor and try as many as you can to find the ones that resonate with you. At The Kali Collective, we are not shy to say our teaching team is some of the most experienced, skilled, and highly trained in the city. All teachers on our team have been teaching for a minimum of 3 years with advanced training.
Are there any specific requirements or prerequisites to join a yoga class in Glasgow?
No, you are welcome to come as you are.
Are there any online or virtual yoga classes offered by the studios in Glasgow?
Many of the yoga studios in Glasgow offer live streamed/virtual yoga classes or on demand yoga classes. Over the last few years this has been something we have put a lot of love and time towards and we are very proud to offer a wide variety of choices for you to do virtual yoga including 25 live streamed yoga classes a week and two different on demand offerings.
Can I book yoga classes in advance, or is it a drop-in system?
Either one is fine, it’s usually more efficient to book online before hand but you are welcome to drop in and register that way as well.
Are there any yoga studios in Glasgow that offer private or one-on-one sessions?
Yes, this is a common offering for yoga studios in Glasgow. We suggest finding a teacher you love and going from there. At the Kali Collective, we offer one to one sessions as well as Yoga Therapeutic sessions with Steph Wall.
