How to Join The Kali Collective

By Katie Gilroy

At The Kali Collective yoga studio, we strive to make this space and practice accessible and welcoming for all!

In the heart of Glasgow, this space is an environment where you can reset, unwind, and find some calm. To streamline your experience, we've put together this step-by-step guide, leading you through the entire booking process, from when you first open the website to the day you roll out your mat and join this community. We offer various classes hosted by our knowledgable and experienced yoga teachers, suitable for complete beginners and experienced practitioners. This practice reduces stress & anxiety, connects the mind & body, and boosts both physical & mental wellbeing.

Are you ready to begin your journey

  1. The best place to start is over at The Kali Collective website, the hub for information about the classes on offer, timetables, information about the Kali team & much more! This can all be found at: www.kalicollective.com

  2. Head to the 'Classes' drop-down menu at the top of the page. From here, there are many options!

  3. If you're brand new to The Kali Collective, head to the 'Class Descriptions' page to find out what type of class may resonate with you for your first visit!

  4. You can also head to the 'Prices' page; this will help you determine whether a drop-in option or one of the many membership options suits you best, whether you plan to join the community online or in-studio.

  5. Armed with the class information you need, you can head to the 'Offerings' page. Here you can browse the calendar for a class that ties into your schedule; we have something for everyone, the early birds, lunchtime legends & those looking for an evening practice.

  6. When you have found the class for you, hit Sign Up!

  7. The next page will summarize what you are booking. Hit the 'Next' button. You can sign in to an existing account, or you can select 'Create Profile.' Creating a profile is quick and easy; it will only take a minute or two!

  8. Once your account is created, you will be taken to the 'Checkout' page. Here you can select the class pass you'd like or sign up for a monthly contract. The next page will allow you to submit your payment information and complete your booking.

  9. Check your emails (and junk folder) for your booking confirmation; it will confirm the class's date, time, and location! It will also detail everything you need to know if you are attending a class online or if you will be joining us in the studio. You should have everything you need, but if you get stuck on the day, you can also contact reception on 07566835600. Then all you need to do is show up ready to practice!

  10. When you arrive at The Axiom building, head up to the second floor, The Kali Collective will be through the double doors and on the right!

  11. If the studio doors are closed upon your arrival, then the teacher may still be setting up the space for your practice; if this is the case, hang tight!

  12. Please head on in, through the decompression zone, and into the reception area if the doors are open. You will need a key fob that links to your account to sign in to class. This will be given to you on your first day; please ask your teacher for one to sign in.

  13. You will then be greeted by the wonderful teacher who will be facilitating the class; please make yourself at home, kick off your shoes, and head into the bright and open studio space!

  14. Pick a spot that you feel drawn to, roll out your mat and gather the props that your teacher will recommend.

  15. You have arrived! Take a big breath and enjoy your class!
