Animal flow is a movement practice designed to improve strength, power, flexibility, mobility and coordination. Sam will break down the key elements of Animal Flow and give you lots of time to play with some flows. An afternoon of fitness and fun awaits you.

The classes will build upon each other, and progression will be guided over time for those who regularly attend; however, no prior experience is required, and all levels are welcome!

Investment: £15

All payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.

What can I expect from an Animal Flow class?

Classes begin by warming up and mobilising our body in preparation for the practice ahead. We then explore the key positions for the workshop. Detailed information and demonstrations are given about each movement before time is given to practice. Transitions between these positions comes next. These will be the building blocks for our final flow at the end of class. Understanding the language and knowing how to write flows is also explored. We finish with some stretches that are based on improving our postures from the class. This part of the class is relaxing and restorative to send you away feeling good after the workout from the flow.

How can Animal Flow transfer over to help me in my yoga practice?

Animal flow has been inspired by yoga and a lot of the postures share similarities.  Strength and stability is at the core of Animal Flow practice and this can positively effect how we find balance and stillness in yoga.

Is Animal Flow suited for all levels?

Our workshops are designed to be achievable for all levels and abilities. Lessons are all based off of the Level 1 syllabus which will offer people a gentle look into what Animal Flow is. More challenging movements and progressions are then given for those who would like them and those that attend on a regular basis.

How do you see progression over time with this style of practice?

Attending our workshops is like building up a library of transitions and postures. Upper body strength and wrist mobility improvements are also a big advantage of regularly training Animal Flow.
